Darth Mantis
Two ancient sith lords with mastery of both body and mind. Which of the two will triumph over the other.starwars

Darth_Glentract
with no sith magics i would say that Tulak Hord would win, they actually used swords imbedded with their powers instead of lightsabers, Jedi invented those and those guy were around before the first Jedi war I think.

Darth Mantis
I know. I thought it would be a little better with a lightsaber duel.

Darth_Janus
Tulak Hord was considered the best -lightsaber- duellist of all time. It is doubtful Ragnos would have been familiar with one. And either way, I would say Tulak wins.

Fishy
Tulak, you don't become the best duellist ever without a damn good reason, he would defeat Ragnos, but i'd probably still be a good fight

Darth Revan33
Ragnos was powerful in both the physical and mental arenas of the Force. If this was who was stronger, or a no rules fight then Ragnos would most likely win. But in a lightsaber fight only it has to go to Tulak.

Fishy
In a no rules fight he would still lose, fights don't very often have rules and Tulak still became the best duelist, so he had to be powerful in the force too. Eventually the fight would have to be decided by lightsaber skills and Tulak would kill him

Darth Revan33
Ragnos was never overthrown. He was extremely powerful and with the Force he would beat Tulak. This is basically like Tyrannus (Ragnos) vs. Maul (Tulak).

Darth_Janus
Ragnos was incredibly powerful, but battles between Sith and Sith or even Jedi and Sith must ultimately come down to lightsaber combat. and in that, Ragnos would find himself hard pressed to win. Tulak's abilities were revered in a time of lightsaber duellists who make Revan and even Exar Kun look like children.

Revan Darkstar
yup, I agree with Darth Janus, Tulak had nobody who could even come close to him. He would beat Ragnos.

Kun-ni Habeo
"Tulak's abilities were revered in a time of lightsaber duellists who make Revan and even Exar Kun look like children."
i agree janus but this is too much noone can make revan and kun look like children

Darth_Janus
Well, if Revan's master, who takes pride in her student very much, says so, it must be quite the truth.

Fishy
considering that she never actually knew him, i'm guessing it was just an assumption

Darth_Janus
Knew who? Hord? She knew of him. Much more than did the Sith of Korriban in Malak's day. She was a better judge of his abilities than say, any one of us. She knew of Revan's potential, and she still cited Tulak Hord as being legendary in his time, a time when lightsaber duelling was perhaps at its zenith. We can only imagine the fantastic battles that took place at that time and he was the best, undisputed. He was most likely slain by treachery, but he did warrant a ceremonial burial chamber in Korriban next to greats like Naga Sadow, Marka Ragnos, and Ajunta Pall.

Fishy
Oh i'm not disputing his greatness, I really do think he could kick pretty much everybody into oblivion no matter who his opponent. But to say that Revan and Exar Kun would be like fighting children is a bit overboard if you ask me...

Still i wouldn't doubt for a second that he would win from them, but not as easily as you would win a fight from a weak 12 year old

Darth_Janus
I was paraphrasing Kreia...

Something along the lines of Jedi and Sith in her day were children compared to the old masters with a lightsaber.

Fishy
I know what she said and i know where you got it from, i'm just doubting the truth in what she says thats all

Darth Revan33
Marka also came from the time of great lightsaber duelists and he did live for centuries. With the Force I think Marka would win.

I must agree with Fishy on the children issue. Kreia referred to Jedi in general. Revan was far past the average Jedi even when Kreia was his master. Then he entered the Mandalorian Wars, learned everything about the Sith, fought the Republic, was the Dark Lord for 2 years, came back even stronger, plundered many Sith tombs and artifacts on Korriban (getting Tulak's tablet), and then recovered his memories of Malachor and the Jedi knowledge. So Kreia didnt really know how powerful Revan was, nor was she even comparing old Sith Lords to him. Besides, Kreia's information is probably accurate but she is talking about something from 1,000 years ago. I dont think Tulak, Marka and the others were necessarily the most powerful beings ever.

Kun-ni Habeo
finally someone

Darth_Janus
Perhaps not the most powerful, but among the most aggressive of Force users and combatants in the galaxy, for sure.

Darth Revan33
true
