The two have fought before. OR and IM tangled and russian boy gave him a some trouble. Tony really got lucky in that fight because when OR graped him and tried to suck his life force, Tony wasn't in the suit at all.
He was remotely operating it via HOMER otherwise IM would have beat him up but with bruises.

Well is if werent for the whole flight thing i would argue that red and ock have a better than average chance in winning this one because im pretty sure iron man has nothign to counteract reds death factor.....but SO MUCH FOR THAT ONE!
