universal has optioned this movie with joss whedon writing and directing for his first motion picture based on the show firefly which fox cancelled a little over two years ago


personally i am glad to see a movie about this show because they ended it with so many unanwsered questions

has anybody else heard of this?

Trailer looks like crap. You'd have to pay me to watch this or at least set me up on a really good date.
