Yes!!!!! im so glad dooku meets his end by Anakin, i hated that guy. I just can't wait to see Ani mess up dooku....I'v herd he gets both his arms chopped off and then goes his head after Ani takes dooku's red lightsaber: useing both to chop him down

its gonna be sick!!!

I love Dooku, but I'm glad that Anakin killed him. I wish he had a bit more to do in the movie, though.

I am kinda partial to obi. The one guy to somehow come away from every battle he has been in unscathed is Obi Wan all the way up to ANH, and thats only because he let himself be killed so he could become stronger in the force. Obi Rocks!

Yup. Sids/Palp is my favorite SW character, followed by Luke and then Vader. I have issues with Obi because of his lying and then saying its all good b/c its "from a certain POV" in the OT. Yah, like that makes it all good.

I think Obi wasn't trying to be manipulative, i think he just wasn't ready to reveal that information quite yet for the sake of Luke. And in some ways i think Obi wan really does see Anikin as being truly dead and darth vader was his murderer.

I disagree. He was manipulating Luke to his advantage.
Whatever the reason, it wasn't right. He could have said anything else and it would have been better.

i don't think so, i think he wanted Luke to overcome the emp and vader and re establish the jedi order yes, but i also think Obi Wan cared for Luke

I'm sure he did. I just have issues with him. I don't hate him, but he isn't my favorite character.
What I really don't like is how he excused it in ROTJ. He should just have been honest at that point.

Every other villain loses from miscalculation. He loses because he is betrayed. Otherwise, he would have won. He would have escaped the Death Star and continued to live.

Yea i loved how lucas made him so mysterios until towards the end of the original trilogy too. You just got glimpses and referances

I agree. Part of his charm is how mysterious and hidden he is.
