I heard people sayin Glads can defeat Superman. So what if you put two Superman villains against him?

whoever's name it is glads gets demolished. zod could probably take him alone.

Zod can't beat Gladiator alone. Superman whipped Zod, and he's whipped Darkseid. Gladiator is a "homage" (read: rip off) to Pre Crisis Superman, who's much more powerful than his modern counterpart.

He could stomp both of these guys one on one, but I still think he would lose if they double teamed him. Unless Darkseid accidentaly blasted Zod with a stray Omega beam or something.

Darkseid and Zod win 8/10

still not sure why everyone 'round here is so infatuated with glads. he got stomped by hulk and ko'd by thor (and hulk stomped him BEFORE he gave him the 'miracle' radiation bath). even old school (pre-upgrade) colossos gave him a hellafight. sure he says he destroys planets and tears stars apart. doesn't matter what he says. he's been ko'd by both thor and hulk. hulk and supes are too close to call strength wise (though most think, as i do, based on his all round power supes would win this one in any non-voter ran battle) and supes also laid the wood to thor quite handily in another x-over. supes, even now, would beat glads, and zod is damn close/equal to supes in most regards. supes has never really 'whipped down' darkseid - least not that i've seen. every one of their battles have been VERY close.

so you have 2 close to supes level characters against 1 less than supes level character.

10/10. 100/100. glads is beat everytime. and, for what it's worth (not much probably, but they are considered the experts) glads couldn't even crack wizards top 10 toughest heroes list. supes hulk and thor all did.

the new ZOD is so powerful. in a recent superman comic, he was slamming superman the whole issue. plus darkseid and gladiator is done........i dont care how confident he gets

Gladiator is a bit of a punching bag in comics. He's still modeled after PRE-crisis supes though... No way he should lose to Hulk or Thor. I'm pretty sure he's clocked at something like 100x light speed at his best... All written correctly, its Glads all the way.

what he's 'modelled' after doesn't matter - how he's written in books does. everyone always says he's a pre-crisis supes - no he's not, no one is - or probably will be again (maybe sentry??) he may have similar powers - strength, speed, vision, invulnerability, but just because he's another knock-off doesn't mean he's as tough. how can anyone respect a character who is supposed to be 'the toughest guy around' but is shown to have CONFIDENCE problems?? and it doesn't really matter anyway because he's been clearly shown NOT to be that tough.

and even supposing for one minute that he WAS, there's STILL no way he beats BOTH those guys. we're talking about 2 of the HEAVY hitters! darkseid may not be quite what he was, but the omega effect is still feared by nearly every dc character, and zod is as tough as supes himself. glads has NO chance - any writing that shows anything different (barring glads being ENORMOUSLY and uncharacteristically clever and out thinking them somehow) would be ridiculous.

Confidence? lol

That trick is when the enemies are weak or have no chance of winning against him.

Gladiator has attack Thor at fast speed and send him packing like twice (did loose but it's clear he was kicking ass)
1.) He was kicking Thor ass badly (masterson)
2.) Defeated Jake pretty easily
3.) Lost to Thor with external help

- He made WM his *****

- Has survived a blast that destroyed a galaxy

-Shatter entire planets with few punches.

- Fought Hyperion

Hulk : radiation
Thor : Surprise/ outside help

Gladiator would own both Thor and hulk.

He did have that bad showing with gambit but ohhh well give him a tough opponent and he will win.
