We have threads about Yoda, Sid, Ani, and all those Jedi. But none about R2-D2! He's the single-most important character of all time! He saved the ship in Ep 1, saved Padme in Ep 2, Saved Ani in Ep 3, Gave the plans to the rebels in Ep 4, Repaired the Hyperdrive in Ep 5, and helped luke in Ep 6. He did more than Anybody!

Altogether now;

R2! R2! R2!

R2 is so important, he even has his own Mockumentary on Ep II second disk. Watch it, it's funny.

R2 is certainly better than Pauly Shore.
