i discovered in the starwars episode 3 novelisation that depa billiba turned to the dark side, i was unaware of this. when did this happen? where? why?

And, it happened because she couldn't accept eternal war and slaughter. She was weak, and the "Dark Jedi" there took advantage of her weakness.
