Unknown to the Justice League, the Crisis on Infinite Earth's had trans-universal effects and caused dimensional barriers between the DCU and other Comic Book multiverses to thin and break in some places, causing 2-way dimensional apertures.

One day Kyle Rayner (GL) is on a mission to examine one of these dimensional rifts and upon examining it sees what appears to be a ship on the other side, but slightly out of phase. He scans the rift with his ring, but the energies cause the rift to grow and gain a gravitiational aptitude similar to that of a black hole, and he is unable to stop it.

On the other side of the rift, the Enterprise commanded by Capt. Picard, scans the same rift, and on their view screen see a man in a green forcefield emitting some form of energy which is causing the rift to grow in size and intensity and transmute the Star Trek universe into the same energy (Oan Battery Energy) which is then absorbed into the rift. Commander Data gathers that the only way to stop the rift is to destroy the energy source in the parallel universe that caused the rift to become unstable and in turn cause it to implode at the source, which in turn would destroy the DCU.
Picard orders a Worf to send a high priority subspace signal on all frequencies to Starfleet Command warning of the impending disaster being caused by the man in the green forcefield which is picked up by the entire quadrant.

All of the major races of the Star Trek Universe, including The Q and the Borg, dispatch fleets to the position of the Enterprise (save Q, no use for ships) to enter the dimensional rift and destroy the source of the dimensional disruption, which now just so happens to be the Power of the Planet Oa.

Kyle sends a distress signal to DC Earth to call for backup, but just as he does, 3 Borg Cubes arrive at his postion just dropping out of warp, scan his energy signature, and teleport him on board one of the ships. Kyle fights for his life and nearly destroys the cube he's on until he Borg have adapted to his lantern energy and it no longer effects them. They then assimilate Kyle into the collective.

Through absorbing Kyle the Borg learn of all of the Green Lantern Corps, the Justice League, and the Guardians, as well as the power of his ring. The Borg then assimilate the ring and produce "Oan Generators" which they distribute to the Star Trek Universe fleet. The generators allow their ships to create shields powered by the Oan Battery, and also allows the Borg Drones to wield the power as a GL would, but at 50% of the power. The non Borg Ships are still effected by Oan energy, but the shielding dampens the degree significantly (35% effeciveness).

They set course for Oa on a seek and destroy mission to save their universe. All in all, the Star Trek Universe Armada is made up of:

40 Romulun Warbirds
40 Cardassian Destroyers
80 Klingon Birds of Prey
70 Starfleet Ships (Including the Enterprise, Defiant, and Voyager)
20 Borg Cubes (Each with 250,000 drones on board)
Q (on-board the Enterprise driving Picard nuts)

The GL Corps engage the the Armada in space about 3 lightyears from Oa to buy time for the JLA to arrive and assist. In the battle 1/5 of the GL Corps are slaughtered or assimilated just as the entire JLA roster arrives, but the battle takes place in space.

Can the JLA and the Green Lantern Corps stop the Star Trek Armada from destroying Oa and saving their universe?

Discuss.

Q destroyes all of the JSA and the GL's in a sec...and then proceeds to grow hair on picard's ass......

Yeah, doesn't Q essentially have the power of God? The Q continuim can do whatever they want.

Wow!

This is a battle. Nice scenario, too!

I don't know as much about DC as I do Marvel, but I would say that the JLA members that can't breathe in space would be confined to a ship, which would be fair game for this huge armada. And we all know that the Enterprise has been known to make some pinpoint shots (think Wrath of Khan!)

It looks like Superman might be the last man standing. But if he could save Kyle and somehow recover the OAN energy, and return Kyle to GL status, the two could probably wipe out the Borg ships (you said Kyle almost destroys one Borg cube by himself, so I can only imagine what he and Superman could do together!).

By that time, the rest of the armada (Picard, the Klingons, etc.) would see that the threat to Universe was over, and then they would leave.

Just food for thought.

after the Borg adapt to GL energy Kyle (and the rest of the corps) will be completely useless against them...... their advanced scans would only take moments to discover Superman's radiation weakness

This is the complete JLA and Green Lantern Corps Roster. I guess I forgot to mention the Guardians are battling as well.

But would the Borg happen to have the exact radiation that weakens Superman on hand at that moment?

If they don't have it in stock and they can't readily create it, that gives Superman plenty of time to do his damage.
