Did you guys ever notice that this guy, George Lucas, made severl million dollars with one storyline. And at the beginning he said, "I did the movie on the seat of my pants."

I think this lazy bum doesn't really deserve the money from the movies he made.

George Lucas created a beautiful work of art and got rich off it. That's the U.S.A for you. If you want redistribution of wealth move to China.

I hear China is starting to prosper actually(strictly economically speaking). Ofcourse this largely due to its trade with the U.S. and other wealthy nations.

But I don't understand why Saberstylemasta thinks George does'nt deserve his money. He keeps making movies and you keep watching them. Sounds like a perfect match to me.

Hmm, lets see. Lucas comes up with a totally brilliant and unique storyline that kept hundreds of millions of people of all ages around the globe captivated for almost 30 years now. Through the course of making them also, he came up with several unique computer effect techniques that are used by everyone now, and will continue to revolutionize the movie making industry.

he def deserves it, i mean yea cg, costume etc helped but GL was the brains behind it all, he made the characters and others brought them to life..

sure he deserves money but not the amount he's earnt no one deserves or needs that much money.

Lucas has come up with one of the best (if not THE best) saga ever created by man. he deserves every penny, and he also deserves more respect then people give him.

Ok, he does deserve a lotta money but if you think that he has created something unique then our wacked, ever watched flash gordon or read any ancient myths, his basically copied them word for word.

And secondly, he deserves no money for Ep.1 and very little for Ep.2.

I find it funny that they always ***** and complain that George is a looney, George is a lazy-ass...but at the same time, they worship every second of Star Wars films?

If it weren't for George Lucas, you wouldn't be on this feckin forum, because there wouldn't be any Star Wars. So yes, he deserves his money. As does anyone with enough brains to make money legally. They all deserve all the money they have.
