This is kickass I've never seen an anime like this. Has anyone else seen this? I have only seen up to volume 4.

Yeah it's really good. it's not the type of thing you'll see on t.v. because there's nudity and sex talk. but actually i suppose alot of anime has it and it's edited. But if you edited this stuff you'd have a butchered crappy episode.

I haven't seen the Anime yet, however i've read the manga up to chapter 210 (latest)

I only saw the first 4 episodes, but I liked what I had seen.

Gantz is the shit. I saw al the eps, they put out in english.

Damn right. Its probably my favourite manga. It kicks ass the way that the action never lets up. And believe me if you've just watched the Anime version, the pace only gets faster, and the battles even more bloodier and dangerous.

The 8th Grader is the sickest one, if anyone saw ep 9.

i thinks it cool but i only have the first two dics. i have a nagging suspicion that most of the good nudity has bee edited out. also i dont like the way they only put two epsodes on one disc, cuz that means if i were to get the entire season i would have to collect thirteen....then they're just gonna come out with a boxed set for $50 and make me feel like an idiot for paying $16 for each disc

The manga has ultra more gore, it's one of my favorites.

I just finished watching Gantz Stage 1 (season 1)...it's really short, only 11 eps

It is a violent anime, but not as strong as I had heard. I like that it's not the kind of anime that makes you think too much...especially since i'm watching it subtitled. It's nature is very simple...kill or be killed. You die in the real world, Gantz brings your dead soul back to life and your forced to hunt aliens that live among humans undetected. One thing I think this anime has going for it is it's design...I think it's well crafted and produced. Really well done. The opening theme has a cool track.

I can't wait to get my hands on Stage 2.
