Has anyone seen the movie akira or steamboy wich just came out

I have seen Akira and I'd be willing to bet most of the people on this forum have as well. I can tell you, that movie is trip and a half(both animations and storywise). Wow. What a mindrush. I don't think I really understood the movie until I finished watching it. I still have lots of questions. Like,

How do they rebuild the city after something like that?

Very trippy. This would go in my "Requiem for a Dream" category.

I have seen both actually. As jerlark386 said, most of us have probably seen Akira. Steamboy was interesting. I saw it at the film festival and debating whether to acquire the DVD. They sure highlighted the Industrial Revolution's pollution bit, which I wonder wasn't too exaggerated.

Steamboy was good I liked the idea of using old tech...

Japanese_wolf52

Akira kicked ass...haven't seen Steamboy though. But I loved Akira. It was disgusting when Tetsuo mutated in the stadium. But had some awesome visuals!
