Ulic Qel-Droma managed to stalemated the Sith Lord Exar Kun.
Kyle defeated Desann, a dark Jedi strong enought to defeat Luke Skywalker.

Desann was nowhere near that powerful.


Kyle could take this, most likely

JO Luke, not NJO or DN. Even Luke said never to fight Desann alone, himself included. He was forced into the fight because he said he never felt him comming. Anything above would pwn Desann. but to avoid this becoming a JO Desann vs JO Luke Skywalker discussion, I think Kyle wins, closely.

But she couldn't defeat him, either. I think Ulic will take this, but I've never had much respect for Kyle.

Because Sylvar is the pinnacle of combat, especially when she's not fighting with a clear head whatsoever? Kyle defeated a master dark jedi when he was an adept, Desann when he was only a bit better and Jeng freaking 'I kill the entire crew of a star destroyer' Droga?
