I could tell you right now that Krayt is gonna be uber. Stradley loves overemphasizing his creations and Krayt's well over 100 years old.

Yeah, Krayt's gonna be intensly powerful, but I doubt he'll reach Palpatine's level. In Betrayal they called Palpatine the most powerful force of destruction the galaxy'd ever seen pretty much

Well seeing as Darth Krayt is really Jacen Solo and therefore a descendant of the chosen one his Force and therfore his Sith abilities would be much more powerful. He also over 100 years old by the time of the legacy series so he has more experience's then sidious... Look what Jacen learned in the first 20 years about using the Force. Imagine 100 years of knowledge?

Krayt is incredible. The only active characters in the EU of SW who are more powerful are Revan and Luke Skywalker.

Krayt is NOT Jacen. Ostrander has confirmed. On top of that, Krayt was born (under another name of course) AFTER the Yuuzhan Vong War. Jacen was already in his 30's.

And that the Skywalkers have appeared in the Legacy comics is a completely different story than Luke Skywalker and Ben Skywalker being in the comic. We've had Kol, Luke's grandson, and Cade, Kol's son.

Anyways, I'm going to say that Krayt would lose to Sidious in a battle of the Force and probably in a battle of lightsabers. Krayt is a newbie Sith, self-trained, and while he appears to be powerful and so on, I don't think he'll present the same threat that Sidious was.

Palpatine's final tirade of blasting everyone with Force lightning had weakened him enough that Luke planned on bringing him into custody. Han, though - I suppose - was pissed at his wife being electrocuted and that the Emperor was trying to possess his son.

I suppose that it's an okay death. Certainly unexpected.

Feeling purposeless he ventured into the unknowns being captured by the vong and implanted with vong coral seeds which would slowly continue to grow and destroy him presumably in stasis during the time of jacen since he lived to be around 150 years old. Ima go back and establish a stronger base although I haven't read about him in a while, born as asharred hett he would go on to train in the ways of the Jedi a while before order 66. His preferred lightsaber form was Niman and arguably was the best niman specialist ever.theres a lot more but that's a very very very small summary with none of his feats.

Lucas never stated Palpatine was the strongest (that's a myth), but a lot of other sources do including those who worked alongside Lucas.

Palpatine's definitely better than Krayt.

In FOTJ: Apocalypse Krayt had a very strong showing, had feats that put him on par with a version of Luke that was far superior to the one in DE. Both of them basically fought a demi-god in a metaphysical battle of pure Force power and will and came out alive.

On top of that he has the Dark Transfer, an ability which both Sidious and Plagueis spent their whole lives searching for and never achieved. And he has feats that neither of them ever displayed, such as the Shatterpoint, using drain in combat or resisting the illusions of a prodigious sorcerer.

And it was also revealed that Krayt was the "dark man" that Luke was having visions/nightmares about for a very long time.

Now reasonable men can always differ, in light of all of the above I would expect anyone to acknowledge that case could be made for Krayt, at the very least.

But no. Why go through the trouble of thinking when you can argue ad nauseam about publisher blurbs are canon or whether quotes from 20 years ago apply to characters who hadn't been created yet.

It's all about the quotes.

It's all about the quotes.

A case can definitely be made. Krayt is not bound by Palpatine's quotes of supremacy, unlike the Sith who preceeded the Emperor. You might find making a case reliant of feats very difficult, though, but I'm willing to hear it if you will.

Nothing you've mentioned so far put Krayt in Palpatine's league, though. The Abeloth feat is great, but Krayt didn't actually do anything that would establish parity with Luke.
