I don't have any hard evidence to say otherwise, but I don't think. She was only a Jedi Knight. Fairly young. And had pretty good knowledge of three lightsaber forms (one of which she mastered). That wouldn't leave a lot of time to train your force abilities.



Also, I disagree. Aayla in the comics is much more attractive than Talon in the comics.

Talon would probably be able to defeat Aayla at Sabers, but not kill her.
Aayla would win at force, or it would be like in ROTS where Anakin and Obi Wan stalemated at force push.

Aayla wins because:

1. She's my apprentice
2. Blue > Red
3. She's also better looking than Talon

Sure, Talon is better with the Force and lightsaber, but Secura still wins.

I take Talon in this matchup, she does regularly face against great saber users, and War gave her nice TK feats too.

Aayla's got a lot of talent, but she's still improving and getting better at the time of order 66.

Talon pwns. Unless I am missing out on some of Aayla's feats...

I mean, we've seen Talon regularly fight and do well against Shado Vao (Jedi Master and rather handy with a saber), Wolf Sazen (also a Master, and Talon beat him), Ganner Krieg, and Cade Skywalker. Sometimes holding off two of them. And of those, only Cade has managed to beat her.

That's in addition to taking down Marasiah Fel's trainer/bodyguard Knight, and being chosen as Cade's sith instructor.

So her career consists almost entirely of being sent against known-badass of master level and holding her own. Aayla's done a wider variety of missions but only rarely does she get to fight dark side force users in battle, and I don't think anyone she's beaten is on a level with Talon's normal opponents.

Aayla wins this while being shot in the back.
