From what I have read sabers is not Marek strong point. How does he last any length of time against Anakin who took Dooku out quickly?

Obi Wan would definitely last longer aganist Dooku than Marek would against Anakin.

Doubtful, Marek is on par with Skywalker, Dooku outclasses Kenobi in sabers.

While sabers isn't Marek's strong point I don't recall him being bad but I'd and edge to the jedi there in a saber duel but they lose the force battle and the all out.

Hells no. The ROTS team wins this. ROTS Anakin would murder Marek with a blade, and Obi-Wan's Soresu can hold off Dooku nearly indefinitely.

Now some of you are going to say, "LOL BUT HE GOT RAGDOLLED BY DOOKU B4!" Yeah. And that was pretty stupid, true. But just like when he faces him in AOTC, he knows he's going to be on his own, and is going to be far more careful.

More or less, Dooku takes out Kenobi in a duel, in the force, probably Obi Wan, since he was able to match Anakin on Mustafar. Ang Galen takes out Anakin in force mastery, but in a duel, I'd give it to Anakin.

Either Marek or Dooku would quickly take him out of the equation with the Force; the former completely overpowered Darth Vader, and the latter has actually done so to Obi-Wan twice already.

Anakin wouldn't fare much better, if any. The dark-side team sweeps this.

Oh I forgot to read the thread, all out. The Sith sweep this in a curbstomp. In the Clone Wars Dooku handles Anakin quite comfortably with the force. He does the same to Kenobi in ROTS. The two Sith probably won't even draw their sabers. It will just be a force curbstomp

Ah, yes, Dooku uses the Force twice in ROTS against Obi-Wan. Maybe that's what Faunus meant.

Ok, w/e Dooku alone was toying with Skywalker and Kenobi in ROTS. Had Dooku KO'd Anakin first instead of Kenobi, then Obi-Wan would have succumbed to the superior saber skills of teh Count Dooku.

He never comes anything close to 'toying' with Anakin in Revenge of the Sith. The novelization shows Dooku using the Force to move a table and pin Anakin with it early on in the fight - but that's contradicted by the movie and thus non-canon. Later on in the fight, Dooku tosses shrapnel at Anakin with the Force and Anakin casually slaps it aside with the Force (this is also non-canon).

But yeah, Dooku's Makashi is the shit. Fencing rules.

Initially, yes he was. Though I agree that he was being forced back by the duo (not just Skywalker), he did not attack him offensively with the Force -- despite the great history of effectiveness that has against him -- and casually kicked him aside when bearing down on Kenobi. That he would continue to goad him throughout the fight is a sign that Dooku was not worried about Skywalker at all.

Not until it was far too late. Once Skywalker unleashed his full fury, well, then it didn't matter if Dooku pulled his head out of his ass. Not that I don't disagree with the idea that Skywalker was the better swordsman or, at least, the more devastating one, but Dooku's mastery of the Force gave him an advantage in many ways. Likely why he wasn't so worried about pushing Anakin's buttons.
