I'm pretty sure with one Force Wave Yoda's toast, and I doubt he's going to be able to repel Bane's Sith Lightning which kills on contact unlike Sidious', and Yoda could barely repel that, and not without being repelled in the opposite direction himself.

darth bane has the advantage here because he uses a curved hilt, and that would make it easier to hit yoda, but other then that, yoda might win if he deflects banes ligtning and if he uses atreyu to its full extent

Palpatine was not even on the list of most powerful Sith Lords of all time at this point in time, he wasn't until Dark Empire. Palpatine's greatest feat was in the fact that his mere presence by the battle of Endor aboard the Second Death possessed the greatest disturbance out off all disturbances that composed the imbalance in the Force, and with his death the massive amounts of energy were released from the corpse as the Dark Side ate it, as we see in ROTJ and in the Dark Empire Trilogy.

However by the time of Episode III, Palpatine's reservoir of Force Energy can only cause several hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of Senate Pods to be moved via telekinesis before all of his energy is expended. Darth Bane could cause an entire temple to collapse, or generate the thought bomb, and his spirit had collected the largest quantity of power by the time of Dynasty of Evil. After taking enough Force Energy with massive Force Drain, Darth Nihilus was far more powerful than Darth Bane, second only to Palpatine in Dark Empire as far as Sith Lords are concerned.

ROTS Sidious is weakling in comparison to what he'd become after the sequel trilogy, and less powerful than Darth Bane, and Yoda was completely equal with Palpatine according to the Novelization, although the Novelization is not the same story as the films, at has many differences, power and everything can be apart of this difference, like Yoda being blue instead of green.

This argument can be canned because Force Wave, Force Whirlwind, Force Crush, Force Strip and countless other abilities were such that Yoda was not proven to have a knowledge of simultaneously. However both Darth Zannah and Darth Bane could use all of the above and had knowledge of all simultaneously and yet they were Sith.

This is because we have to take into account that Star Wars is an imperfect place, and that just because the writers or G Lucas weren't omniscient in the constantly expanding EU literature, and because a lot would not fit into plot and is irrelevant all together, doesn't mean Yoda or Palpatine couldn't necessarily do things others did do in the EU, they certainly weren't claimed not to be able to do anything others could do.

Now that I understand that, I guess you could use a differing story of the Films as a moderator that keeps the super powers of the EU in check with quotes like, "Yoda was the most powerful adversary to any Sith thus far (Darth Bane was an adversary to the Darkness via Darth Zannah) and Palpatine was even with him."

Although I think it sounds all too convenient for the Sith, with no funding or conquering of resources, end up the best Sith yet, Plagueis, unless directly apprenticed to Zannah, cannot know what other Sith can't, and Palpatine, unless his home for the first thirty years of his life was a militarized Sith Academy possessing enough raw data to make any Sith a veritably omniscient genius in both the Dark Side and the Light Side, would not have been able to grow so strong and be so knowledgeable in as many aspects of the Force as he was proven to be in the Novelizations and and in the EU.

But it IS possible, that being said, I'm willing to except Yoda is stronger in the Force than Darth Bane and can kill the Sith in combat 8/10 times.
