Battle takes place upon a neutral planet in an open field.
kodiak430
which luke skywalker is this?
Board Walker
Legacy of the force is his most recent showing? If so that one.
kodiak430
actually fate of the jedi (fotj) is, but they take place really close in time so it doesnt matter. in that case, i say lukes team wins.
Board Walker
I think sids would use force lightening in conjunction with a force storm, or directly target luke.
While starkiller incinerates either exar or windu, or both if they both are in range of the aoe.
While revan battle meditates his team or goes saber if need be

While revan battle meditates his team or goes saber if need be idk if you know this, but by lotf, luke is probably the most powerful force user in all of star wars history. there is no way that sidious would be able to deal with him that easily. as for exar and mace, either one of them is able to take on starkiller, and then the other one can deal with revan.
Board Walker
Okay so each team starts off at opposite ends of an open ended huge field.
So what if sidious conjours up force storms, revan force buffs his team simultaneously, while starkiller force repulses when they get cose?
kodiak430
wouldnt the force storm kill his teammates?
Board Walker
I was under the impression sidious could actively control and target them, he did it in de book didn't he? Raized the surface of courscant and killed everyone on it, save for luke and everyone around luke died too.
kodiak430
hmm idk i never read it. in that case idk, i guess Revans team would win then

Actually in the Fate of the Jedi Luke learns a new technique called Lightning Rod which can be used to either attract electrical energy or defend themselves from it with minimal effort.

Does it work against force lightening though? Or just electrical energy? Because I'm not sure force lightening is electricity, doesn't act like electricity that's for sure.
kodiak430
no im pretty sure the point of it is to use it against force lightning
mattatom
Oh and when they are flying through the gassy rainbowy cloud and lightning strikes them which the Aing-Tii later point out it's "Natural Force Lightning" it protects them well enough.
Hewhoknowsall
NJO and after Luke beats Sidious
Mace beats Starkiller (if this is dark side Starkiller)
Exar beats Revan (based on what little we know about these two in terms of their combat ability)

....Are you serious? I haven't read the FOTJ books, but if so: gayest technique, ever.
Please tell me you're being sarcastic.

Details may be a little awry, but with 'minimal effort' he manages to prevent his ship The Jade Shadow from being hit by lightning. From wookie
"Hassat-durr was a family of Force techniques used by the Baran Do sages. Translated from the native Kel Dor language into Galactic Basic Standard, it meant "lightning rod". The hassat-durr techniques suffused the user's body with a low level of electromagnetic radiation. Because of this, if the wielder did not have the skills perfected and attempted to use them during a storm, they would be repeatedly struck by lightning. However, when perfected, they allowed the wielder to disable prosthetics and electric implants, interfere with shock shackles, become a range-boosting antenna for a comlink, among other uses."
