Jaina vs Vader's apprentice with a twist. This is before Starkiller learned his true identity and became a Jedi. So he is fully using the dark side. Jaina has her Mando training so wins this battle?

Galen mollywhops her face off.

^ If mollywhop is Latin for curbstomp, then agreed.

Marek wins so hard.

Jaina uses a clever force trick(topless) and stabs him in the face.

As much as I like Jaina as the Sword of the Jedi, she's had few very impressive feats to her name. For some reason, neither the authors nor Lucas seem to care much about developing her character into an actual warrior (*cough cough* Jaina's embarassing display of being caught in an electric net, being rendered helpless, and having to be saved by Katarn - from the Outcast novel).

Top 3 feats I recall:

1) TUF: Jaina against the Yuuzhan Vong Slayers, although it has been said she was in a meld, so meh.
2) Duel with Caedus and his defeat (the first duel, Luke dooped Caedus into thinking Caedus was fighting Luke rather than Jaina through Force projection, and the second time, he was missing an arm).
3) She's demonstrated her ability as an incredible pilot, better than Caedus, and maybe better than Han Solo (don't blast me!)?

LOL. I am trying to remain impartial in this duel, and the topless strategy steer towards a win for Jaina...hands down. So much for a lifetime of training for Marek. Personally, I'd rather have her start in a two-piece, and go from there, maybe a little strip tease.

Seems like a sound strategy to me. Distraction can be deadly.

She is absolutely NOT a better pilot than Caedus. In Inferno LUke and Caedus are flying in front of Jaina, and she is frustrated by how much better they are than her. She can't even line up a shot at Caedus without him dodging it in such a way that it hits Luke.

I remember that scene, but it seems like that was just because Caedus stayed on Luke's tail? Do you happen to know the section in the book so I can take a look? Or if you can post.

Galen is a far superior pilot than Jania. He was busy all those years kicking the asses of the Cylons.

Thats what I thought too. I just figured there must have been some impressive piloting in FOTJ for Jaina or something for him to say that. As of LOTF Jaina was definatly not a better pilot than Jacen.

well, I was going to post, bu I can't find the book. It is made very obvious by the text that Luke and Caedus were in a whole different category than Jaina though.

Same with Leia. Shouldn't she be roughly equal to Luke? Oh wait, men are way stronger than women. The Force is sexist. Think about it, are there any women in the top ten? Or even top 20? (I'm not counting Abeloth or Sekot, cause although they appear as women, they arent really).

Darth Zannah, the Ancient Sith that devestated Ambria, The Jedi Exile and Darth Traya are all contenders.

Well... top 20 maybe.

Hopefully The Old Republic will rectify this discrepancy.

I hope so too. It's pretty ridiculous, especially when in both cases where there are twins the women are far, far weaker.

Abel, I think an argument could potentially be made for them cracking the top 20 ( I wouldn't put them there), but not top 10.

Isnt Abeloth female? Definatly top... maybe even the strongest force user so far.

Exactly. Wasn't Ben able to see her true form too or am I remembering incorrectly? Was it explained why only they can see it? Ive only read the first 3 FOTJ books.

I think so, could be forgetting though. I know Ben sensed that something was definitely wrong with Abeloth.

I think I'd go with Galen, but just because of his unbelievable Force powers. Jaina probably has more potential, but Galen can channel it better. As for sabers, Jaina probably, but not easily because of the unpredictability of Galen's Sith Shien style combined with Juyo and Soresu.

Starkiller would pwn her, especially if he was still dark side.

Yea, those are top contenders.

Other possibilities/honorable mentions, XoXaan was one of the great sith of old, Darth Cognus was another Rule of Two master, Jaina's one of the stronger of Luke's order, and for a new maybe Exal Kressh, the Sith Emperor's renegade apprentice, also wouldn't surprise me if she was a powerhouse.


Leia's behind Luke mainly due to never really training much.

Jaina is inexperienced with her gifts while Galen knows how to use what he has to incredible effect.

INexperienced? She's a fully trained Jedi. That's not INexperienced.
