I've seen a lot of different anime here and there before I got into anime. But the first anime I intentionally watched, was...I don't remember, I had a friend who gave me three dvd sets to watch, and I don't remember which I watched first. It was either Trigun, Helsing (original), or Berserk.

Dragonball Z, Though there is debate on wether it IS an anime or a bloody Cartoon. Either way I dont care.
