Master Han
When Kaan sends Kas'im to deal with this dangerous "Darth Sidious" upstart, the blademaster baits him into the location where Maul and Oppress fought their master...but instead finds himself staring into Darth Maul's cold eyes. No words are necessary. The two double bladed masters draw their weapons, and leap to attack, while an omniscient narrator blasts Duel of the Fates from the sky.
Round 1: TPM Maul
Round 2: TCW Maul
1. Sabers
2. Force
3. All out

Probably Maul. I think Maul can replicate Banes superiority over Kas'im simply through being more powerful than him. Pretty good fight though as, as you pointed out, Kas'im does possess incredible reflexes, speed and is a supremely skilled combatant.
Intrepid37
Is that what Kas'im looks like, lol.
NewGuy01
No, it's just fan art. Crappy looking too, wasn't Kas'im Blue like Kopecz?
Anyway, Maul should take round 1 barely.
DARTH POWER
Not sure about round 1. But pretty sure in round 2 Maul is just too powerful. Plus he is ridiculously skilled himself as a swordsman. Dual blades being his speciality.

Agreed. Not sure if dual blades is his specialty though. He didn't use them immediately in all his duels.
DARTH POWER
^ Well he used a Saber Staff as his regular weapon as of TPM, and Darth Plagueis goes on about how exceptional Maul's Jar Kai skills were.
Master Han
Can anyone provide evidence that Maul is "more powerful" than Kas'im? Because, given his literal mastery of every style's movements and sequences, Kas'im appears to have the edge in technical mastery, and he's not horribly outclassed in physical ability either.
NewGuy01
Because Kas'im doesn't have the feats to prove that he has the skills to pay the bills. Maul has outclassed famed swordsman such as Anoon Bondara and Qui-Gon Jinn. The former is actually very similar to Kas'im himself--A muscularly defined Twi'lek that has mastery of all 7 forms of the lightsaber.
Kas'im has his accolade of being the greatest swordsman in the Galaxy--But this is from Bane's perspective, and is probably untrue considering Raskta Lsu seems to outperform him. Still, his supposed perfection of every move and sequence of the 7 lightsaber forms is impressive, and he was PoD Bane's superior as a duelist. However, it's best we just be honest here--Stalemating "the" master of Soresu in a lightsaber duel (Per TCW) is quite more impressive than that. Not even mentioning the fact that Maul is a master of Teras Kasi as well as Lightsaber combat.
Force-Wise, his Force Defenses are pretty beastly, but he hasn't displayed offensive Force Prowess--Maul has (TK-ing an ETA-Class shuttle). Overall Maul is just more impressive. Kas'im gives him hell, though.

Whilst Bondara is an exceptionally skilled duelist, he's never been stated to have mastered and perfected every move and sequence from every form, nor does he even have Kas'im's reflexes and physical conditioning.
Raskta had a team, and battle meditation.
Kenobi, not yet at his peak in TCW, is already greater than TCW Maul as a swordsman. He does better in their blade clashes, and dealt with pre-viszla with far greater ease.
Neither are the type to regularly incorporate telekinesis into their movements. In the Force battle, I'd give TCW Maul the edge.
NewGuy01
I wasn't referring to how well she did against Bane in comparison, as much as Othone's observations of her in combat are astounding. She appears to fight in something like 4 places at once, many adjusts her style of battle to her fellow Jedi blow-to-blow with considerable ease, while like Kas'im proved to be a perfect weapon.

Says who? That was the final season of TCW. It's mere months away from ROTS. In fact his feat against Maul/Opress is by far his best Saber feat he's ever displayed Imho.

Not a great argument. Kenobi resorted to Force Pushing Pre-Viszla. Maul did not. And Viszla used all his weapons against Maul but not against Kenobi.
That early CW Kenobi in fact got beaten by random Death Watch warriors, and Viszla is the leader of that warrior clan.

Maul used TK as his opening move in Sith Hunters.

I just checked this out. Loved Palpatines reaction to Maul being alive:
