A lot of feats come into question when you consider the impact of a Force Nexus. Here I will be speculating as to the impact of such a Nexus.

The most basic way a nexus seems to amp people is a passive amp. A force wielder may not be actively drawing from it, but they receive a boost in their abilities from being around so much energy. Basically a character's abilities may be amped to some extent, but it's not too far beyond what they are normally capable of. Ultimately even with the most extreme nexuses, a passive amp will only alter one's abilities by a factor of two at the very most.
Examples of this would be: Bane on Lehon, Bane on Ambria, Savage and Maul on Phleem, and Dooku on Vjun.

Another way a nexus increases one's power is when they are actively drawing on it. This significantly increases their abilities and allows them to do feats that are normally beyond them.
Examples of this would be: Bane's death field on Prakith, Zannah's tendrils on Ambria, and Vectivus's phantoms on the habitat.

Another way a nexus could amp somebody is if they have a natural relationship with the Nexus. A relationship with said nexus would increase one's powers by a significant amount and give them an edge over others. Basically for some, drawing on a nexus becomes a second nature to them due to their intrinsic connection with said nexus.
Examples of this would be: Vitiate on Dromuund Kaas, Nightsisters on Dathomir, Sion and Nihilus on Malachor, and Sidious on Byss.

This is my understanding of how Nexuses amp people.

I agree with most of this, however to me it ultimately matters on the author's intent. Did the author mean for bane to be able to destroy the temple only because he was on a nexus? most likely not.

Quite frankly, even if the author doesn't say they are drawing on it, I don't see why the character wouldn't draw on it. If Dooku is going head to head with Yoda, there is no reason not to draw on the Nexus, it's a free stash of power. Same goes for Bane on Lehon.

Yeah that very clearly wasn't the intent. Either way it's still a viable telekinetic feat for him considering how much his strength in the force grew from POD to DOE.

That's a valid assessment, however many people wish to disregard a feat altogether because of the "help" from a nexus, help that may not even be used.

I think an interesting question is whether a nexus provides a uniform amp to all users who draw on it.

For example, let's say we have a dark nexus and two Sith. Darth Bob and Darth Jimmy are both roughly equal in raw force potential, but let's say Jimmy has a stronger affinity for the dark side. If Bob and Jimmy drew upon the dark nexus, would they both receive the same amp in their powers, or would Jimmy be able to draw upon the nexus more efficiently?

A more concrete example:

Let's say the amp Anakin received on Mortis when he overwhelmed the children gave him a 200% (just a random number I picked) boost in raw power. If Kenobi received that same amp, would have also get a 200% boost or something less?

In other words, can certain characters draw upon a nexus more effectively than others?

Well Anakin was also experiencing a state of oneness at that time.

and force alignment has everything to do with how a nexus affects a person.
