This is a thread to discuss power levels in Star Wars with the aim to create as accurate a hierarchy as possible.

This will include characters, Force Using or otherwise, cosmic entities (this includes the Force), prophesied beings, technology (such as super weapons) and powerful locations (such as Force nexuses), and characters that were boosted by such technology, nexuses, or characters who achieved a transcendental state of being, if only for a moment.

General discussion/speculation is fine, but ultimately to enter the official hierarchy you will have to post some kind of proof, whether its a comicbook scan, videogame cutscene, quote (properly referenced) or scene from a movie/tv show.

I will start:

0. GL and Co (the makers of canon).

Clearly I'm the only one here that cares about having an accurate and well sourced hierarchy...

We've tried doing this about a dozen times before. It always breaks down in to opinion and bias. Very quickly. Star Wars just doesn't have the canonical, undisputed, richness to its power levels. Besides:

Im going to put Jar Jar at the bottom of the food chain with Satele Shans apprentice Shigar right above him. And Sy Snootles is at the top because just look at that body, its pretty self explanatory

Indeed. It's quite clear that, while some characters are stronger than others, there's additionally some rock-paper-scissors effects, circumstances that can change the difficulty of a duel, different styles of portraying duels in different parts of canon, and opinions of some character's power changing over time among writers, not just fans.

C'mon you guys the very least that we can do is try to rank the non-force sensative people.

Kir Kanos is likely near the top...

Then you get Fetts and other top mandos, and badass agents like Johan Cross and Morrigan Corde and Theron Shan and effectively Han Solo.

Lesser mandos and normal elite bounty hunters, etc. etc..
