Snape honestly seemed like the most skilled teacher at Hogwarts after Dumbledore. Just like he seemed like the most competent Death Eater after Voldemort.

I would think his occlumency gives him an edge. He also seems quick with his wand. Minerva is too, but I'm pretty sure Snape out reacted her in the final book.

This makes no sense. Harry Potter isn't in the fight, why would there be fanboys of his? Unless you just meant fanboys as in people who are fans of the series and not the character. But it still makes no sense to ask where they are at because it's not like the topic had no replies.

That's why Rowling put mcgonaagll vs nape in there to show the proffesors taking a more active role in this and showing women can fight to.


Snape is very simplistic and minimalistic in his moves. He isn't just going to be blast out spell after spell he is more of a defense fighter. Also mcgonaagll had some pretty fast reflexes for someone of her age. Also the two are like the mace windu and count Dooku. Dead even. Mcgonaagll was able to contend with voldemort by herself for even a short amount of time having voldemort go at full blast than the other two join in.
