Probably Sidious in a difficult match.

If the phantom menace Sidious is equal to ROTS Sidious than yes.

He doesn't need to be. After killing Plagueis, his powers increased and he became more powerful than his master.

Valid point though I'd wager Vader is really pushing near if not already at Plagueis's level of power.

That's still beneath Sidious.

I dunno about that. Plagueis has great hype, feats, and trained Palpatine. He's pretty formidable.

I only stated that due to his newer feats in Lords of the Sith. Plagueis has a deeper grasp of the force overall and showings like his ritual with Sidious are utterly beyond Vader
