Kyp's raw power is kinda ridiculous, and he's no joke as a duelist either (Luke places him in Katarn's tier).

Katarn isn't as good a duelist as the Hero of Tython. And Kyp's power is overhyped.

Arcann wins. He's powerful enough for Durron not to ragdoll him and has tanked lightning of greater mangitude than Kyp's Alter Environment, thus practically nullifying the only way Durron can win.
As a duelist, Kyp shouldn't get stomped, but he would lose conclusively.
