He (Nadd) has absolutely nothing to suggest he'd best Vader in sabers. The man was already matching/besting a legit army buster and master of several lightsaber technique --- one of which, being Juyo which requires one to be a a high level master of several forms to fully become a maven, in Starkiller - all before becoming a "far more formidable combatant", and increasing more power in the Force overall.

Going with the Sith who, as a spirit, gave King Ommin enough power to dominate millions of Onderonians, one-shotted Nomi with TP and easily dominated Arca Jeth with a continuous spell. Meanwhile causing a dark side nexus that consumed Onderon as a side-effect of his sorcery. Before Nadd took all his power back and claimed Ommin's spirit.

Why?

Because Sadow doesn't have any unamped feats to put him above Vader and the sun flare feat where he was amped by crystals wouldn't put him above Vader by all that large a margin.

Because he was a weakling spirit.
Freedon Nadd in physical form should be able to replicate those feats--presented in DLOTS--by himself.

Vader takes the combat skills(lightsabre) section. As Nadd was never noted to be a good lightsabre practitioner.
Not sure if his duel with Matta Tremayne counts.
