The same thing that both strike teams of randoms that took down the Dread Masters had.
slayne
Dread Masters obliterate him.

Vader did will himself to live at one point. That's pretty potent willpower.
For telepathy, he broke the telepathic defenses of ROTJ Luke, an extremely powerful Jedi who has some telepathic feats shortly after ROTJ (see Nova's Respect Thread). That's his impressive feat. He has some others but to my knowledge nothing over the top amazing.

Vader revives himself by sheer will from the point of death, resists the Visions in his quest to transform his light saber, and through sheer will power brings his armor/life support systems back after Cyclo shuts them down
Pretty sure he has better willpower/TP resistance than fodder TOR characters

Oh, we're doing Canon?

What? Off the top of my head, Vader has,
- kept himself alive via sheer willpower
- disspeled Pavan's illusions
- taught Kharys the ability to conjure doubt and mentally vitiate opponents -during combat - as evident in her fight against neophyte Luke
- forcefully pulled info from Luke's mind
- telepathically sensed Starkiller's thoughts while being lightyears away

Yeah, the protags are just a bunch of "randoms" I guess

He has also been able to project his thoughts across the galaxy to RotJ Luke, and almost mind dominated ESB Luke. In Canon, Ahsoka was overwhelmed by merely touching his mind, similar to how Scourge was when he touched Vitiate's.
Vader's got plenty of willpower. No clue what Ant is on.
SunRazer
Yeah, and even if it was only Legends, Vader doesn't have nothing. kek

Mine is better.
And it shows a lot more telepathic abilities of Luke, even pre-ESB.

Telepathy and willpower aren't interchangeable.

The latter, clearly correlates with the former, to a very sizable extent.
DarthAnt66
Eh, I'd need some definitive proof for a correlation.
And I do hope there is some, given how beneficial that would be for Revan.
For DM vs Vader, the DM were downing the Hero from across the galaxy with TP.
Deronn_solo
I think you can have powerful willpower and not per-se be a powerful telepathy, but I don't think it's possible you can have good tp and not have good willpower, too.
Sources such Dark Journey directly correlated Kyp Durron's telepathic ability with that of his willpower.
As for the fight, Vader obvs loses.
AncientPower
There's genuinely nothing he has that indicates anything of the sort. Nor do they even require TP to kill him.
S_W_LeGenD
Each Dread Master is a master of the Dark Side of the Force with a great deal of specialization in Sith sorcery.
They are also proficient in team-work, to the point that they have decimated entire fleets out in the space.
This contest is a mismatch in the favor of the Dread Masters collective. As good as Darth Vader is in single combat, no chance for him to succeed here.
Geistalt
bump
Still think the Dread Masters win.
DarthAnt66
Dread slaughter, yeah.
