Who do u think is the true king of comics creation. I know most would say Stan Lee but my heart goes 2 the GREAT Jack kirby. Stan Lee is like the Knight and Jack is the king imo. wat u think?

Though I also say Jack was the greatest creater instad of artist.

Gratest artist ever is Alex Ross.

Stan had his low points (*cough-IncredibleHulk#118-cough*), but he's definately the man.

Alex is the greatest technical artist, but Kirby was better at creating.

Alex's art is more like photos, Kirby's are what comics are supposed to look like.

Stan... he gave us Spidey, the Hulk, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four... Marvel would be dead if not for him...

siegel and schuster cannot go unnamed here. neal adams said it best:

"For all that we occasionally try to push super heroes aside or replace them, it's the genre they invented with Superman that is the foundation of our business."

without S&S, it's debateable if we would ever even have HEARD of guys like stan and jack and relative newbies like ross. though, geniuses that they were, they would likely have found a way to make a mark, somewhere.
