Because Grievous has a brain, eyes, and organs. And it may be difficult to make Grievous to begin with. And they're at war so they need lots of battle droids quickly.

Why don't you have the new Carerra GT? Maybe you don't have the money? Star wars universe is in a lot of ways like our own. Wealth considerations do apply to all the species we see. The trade federation are obviously very wealthy to have such a strong and sofisticated army, but they are not unlimited of course. Their budget, and their training time are limited. Plus they have to make decisions on allocation aswell. Cloning Grevious's or making more like him would obviously limit the rest of their army. Maybe far less droids, or less star ships. Maybe they don't feel the benifit out weighs the cost.

Yet Grevious is organic aswell right?

Budget!?!? What budget? Their freakin droid planet invasion people!! They dont PAY budget or bills!

They obviously do. Why would they be called the 'trade' federation if they didn't hay budgets and bills to pay.

A better question would be, why would they?

They do pay the people working for them. That's why they have the InterGalactic Banking Clan. Dooku thought about getting rid of them but realized profits would drop.

i think grevious was once fully biological, but as his body detiriorated, he added mecha parts, eventually becoming what we saw him as. his bio parts are unique and cant be duplicated.

does any one know wot he actully looked like before he became mecha

Do you even realize the costs involved in cloning? It's astronomical. You have to pay for parts. Then there's the labor, which they rape you on. And there are no refunds. If the clone comes out f'ed up, you're stuck with it. Bad deal all around.

Grevious looked like a green raptor type thing. He only had 2 arms--the other 2 were from his cyborg body. Yes, despite having just his head and vitals, they coulda cloned him. Just one blood cell contians your entire genetic blue print.

Sidious and Tyrannus wanted a HUMAN host only--one who had NO Force potential. Jango Fett was a renowned and proven Jedi killer with an almost nil midi-chlorian count who's loyalty was to money--he was the perfect template for a clone army.

He looks kinda the same before his "accident" and being mechanized by San Hill, chairman of the Banking Clan

it would be hard because he's part alien part droid,so instead of cloning they could just make an army of his alien race

I don't know exactly but it seems to me that his condition was provoqued by mace at the end of the clone wars cartoons and agravated at the end by obi 1 when the clones arrive to utapau.
