Honestly, though, power isn't the only factor here. Champ has more raw power, but versatility plays a big factor in a fight. Champ could be versatile, but that wouldn't be the dumb ass Champ that we know and love. I believe Surfer could pull one over on him.

Surfer is faster, but Champ's durability is higher than Surfer's, Thanos' blasts nearly took SS out, but they didn't effect Champ at all.

You should see some of Champions better showings. He's an Elder of the Universe. In terms of sheer power, he's way above Surfer. Much more powerful than you think.

Well written, Surfer should effect him as much or less than he could The Runner, seeing the runner only used his power for speed and Champ uses the same power for over all physical.

But he's not written to his full potential, none of the Elders are.

A well written champ should win (with PP)

Both character have been said to be equal in power

Here is all the encounters

1) Silver Surfer beats him effortlessly
2) Champ gets a power up tries to attack Thanos who teleports him away, then finds SS-------- Still can't take SS down , note SS says Champ’s power rival his own.

This is where cham destroys a world effortlessly , and SS says someone with that much power , rival even my own.

3) Champ with Power Gem (and PP) ----------- Defeats SS , Adam warlock , Drax , BRB , Gladiator , all the bad ass of the universe etc

When she hulk see Silver Surfer down --------- She was shocked that the most power of them all can be taken down.

Pip says: he couldn't see his usually attacks, and we later find out that he couldn't use board.

Note from She-Hulk and pip eyes SS was seen as the Strongest.


Silver Surfer has been said to be the Strongest out of all the big boy heroes multiple times.

Well written Michael Korvac waves his hand and kills Elders. Power Cosmic wielders like Korvac and Galactus can match the power primordial. Surfer can't or shouldn't be able to
