In TPM, there is a Kaminoan in the Jedi council. You see it when Qui-gon is speaking with the entire council for the first or second time in the film. Could that be syfo-dyas? Or am I way off and it's just another random Jedi? And if there was an actually Kaminoan in the council, how could none of the Jedi be aware of Kamino when just a couple files are erased?

Random Jedi, Sifo is dead, I don't remeber exatcly how he died. Some kid said that darth Maul killed him off with a force fireball. Which was just plain reterded. But Sife Dious isn't seen in the movies, IIRC.

obi said syfo-dyas died "ALMOST ten years ago" so doens't that imply it was after TPM?

Some kid said that. For some reason though, I always thought that Qui Gon Ginn was Syfo dyas or whoever the hell. Dunno why though.

that just seems weird that they don't know about the kaminoans when one was in the council. No one new of the system when they worked with one in the coucil?

to further add to Revan's post, in some documentary on the AOTC DVD you hear GL say that they deliberatly left Poof out of all the scenes so there wouldn't be any confusement as to if he was Kaminoan or not

Oh, I wasn't sure at first, beacuse if he died years before AOTC then he should have been on the council on PM.

Sifo-Dyas wasn't just an "Alias" used be Dooku. As hinted at be Obi-Wan, he was a REAL Jedi that was "Killed almost 10 years ago".

Sifo-Dyas was a real jedi who was a friend of Count Dooku. In this website, it says that count dooku killed sifo dyas under sidious's orders.

Sifo-Dyas was a Jedi Master in the Jedi Order, though he was killed shortly after the time of the Battle of Naboo. The Kaminoan prime minister Lama Su informed Obi-Wan Kenobi that Sifo-Dyas had ordered the creation of a clone army on Kamino to help the Galactic Republic. The Jedi Council was not aware of the order until Kenobi informed them of it after he met with the Kaminoans.

According to the novel : Labyrinth of Evil, Sifo-Dyas was a friend of Jedi Master Dooku, who shared his belief that the Jedi Order was not what it once was and that it shamed itself by serving a corrupt Senate. Dooku, upon beginning his training as Sith Lord Darth Tyranus, was told by his master Darth Sidious that Sifo-Dyas had placed the order for the Clone Army in secret. Dooku was ordered to murder Sifo-Dyas and erase Kamino from the Jedi Archives before he left the Jedi Order for good.

The truth about the Clone Army is left ambiguous- it is possible that Sifo-Dyas indeed ordered it, but it is just as likely that Sidious ordered it and possibly used Sifo-Dyas as a scapegoat, in order to cover his tracks and rid himself of Sifo-Dyas, for reasons unknown. It is possible Sidious felt that Sifo-Dyas's friendship with Dooku could jeopardize his training as a Sith Lord. With Qui-Gon Jinn and Sifo-Dyas dead, Dooku was more likely to be loyal to his new Sith master.

Sifo-Dyas was killed by a Force Fireball, but not by Darth Maul. He was killed by Darth Sidious when Sifo-Dyas refused to become his apprentice.

At least Yarael Poo propably finds it hard to fit into elevators with his neck and all....

+ How are they going to burry him? They would need an extra long coffin. And should they try to burn him, his neck would be far from the flames. Or should they bend his head to his toes so that he might fit a regular coffin?

This is an important dillemma.
