Confident Gladiator vs Silver Surfer

Confident ( pissed) vs Silver Surfer ( no radiation bloodlust)

Both using all they have

SS will use the following:

-nanosecond reflexes
-planet destroying attakcs
-limitless energy abosrption
-millions x speed of light
-turn Kallark into rocks
-trap Kallark in board
-use telepathy etc.

SS has turned people into energy, and has used someone like CM with is board.

Wouldn't Surfer just hit Gladiator with a blast of a certain confident radiation that he is weak to?

Wait, didn't Surfer already beat Gladiator WITHOUT using Glad's weakness?

Gladiator SEEMS a lot more imposing, but Surfer wins.

I like to think of a fight with Gladiator going something like SS fighting Superman. Going toe-to-toe would give the fight to Gladiator; but this is also Surfer fighting out of his style, not Gladiator's. Even with energy beams against him, I can see Gladiator holding his own. But the Surfer is just so versatile, I think he wins, even without exploiting G's weakness. Exploiting a foe's weakness (which is good tactical thinking) just makes the fight end much faster.

I remember in their actual battle...Glads had the edge.

That panel has always been a little suspect to me... but I'd give those 2 a stalemate or a slight edge to Surfer (since he's WAY more popular.)

I thought he was just flaunting his power and/or making a point.

with radiation Surfer, without radiation i would have to give the edge to Glads
