What do you think Star Wars would be like if it had nuclear weapons. Would they be effective against the shielding of ships?

The Death Star didn't have nuclear weapons moron, and I'm sure they'd be shot down before they got to the ship, but if they hit the shields I'm sure they'd do considerable damage, the shields would probably cause the nukes to explode, and there goes your ship.
