I was wondering if anyone could help me with a query. I posted it here because I wasn't sure where else would be appropriate. Feel free to move it if it's in the wrong forum.

I have written a short story which I hope to expand into a full-length novel, or even a series of novels. It was inspired by "chicks kicking ass" action films, although it is 'serious', not a parody.

I want it to appeal to both men and women. I would be grateful if people would let me know what sort of things they would like, or what you don't like about the movies it's based on. I realise that a book is not the same as a movie, but I'd appreciate any comments you have.

Funnily enough, yes, I did base one of the main characters partly on Eliza (to be more exact on Faith, Eliza's role on BtVS).
