For the title of best Prankster and Trickster! Mr. Mxyzptlk's only weakness is to say his name backwards. And he is known to get on Superman's nerves. Loki detest his brother Thor and always tries to pull tricks on him. So which of these two would you win in a fight?

For all of Loki's mystics, it pales in comparison to Mr. Mxyzptlk as he is his own genie. His power in most respects will take down Loki if he was taking the fight seriously. However, as he hardly does take things seriously, Loki probably has enough craftiness to trick him to say his name backwards as Superman has, or more (i.e. Joker was able to claim his power).

I am surprised that this Marvel hater made this thread.

Depends on whether Mxy is out for blood. If he is I pity Loki, if its more a battle of wits Loki takes it. Mxy's power leads to a naivete because there is so little that can threaten him even if its actively trying to. So he doesn't take threats from "lower" beings seriously.

With absurd levels of CIS on, Loki would win because Mxy couldn't be bothered, and/or would slip up because he wasn't paying attention and/or found Loki amusing; in a conventional battle, this is beyond laughable -- Mxy for the utter win...
