but im serious who would win? Ironman is said to have the best mobile war suit, however it seems to me that Guardians is vastly more powerful.

Iron Man has demagnetized his suit. He also doesn't have the power of Magneto like reversing the blood flow or anything like that. He has other abilities Magz doesn't have and vice versa.

I think there should be a Guardian battle series. I want to see him against some of those god-forsaken DC characters. Hope he can deal with speedblitzes....

Yes and no, but he can make an invisble electromagnetic wall that can ...oh here is the scan. Northstar's cruzing speed is mach 10, and his full potential is 99% the speed of light. He has been shown to run mach 18.7 as well as fly at escape velocities

The "teleportation trick" reaches speeds of 18.5 miles per second. Escape velocity is 7 miles per second, so he is faster than mach 32.7...double it.

I guess after looking at those scans mungi guardian can speed blitz ironman and with the enhanced strength he has that should put ironman down. If guardian has any where near the magntic strenth of magneto then it shouldn't matter how demagnitized ironman is now because if he's alive and uses energy then he's will always have some kind of a magnitic field for mac to manipulat.

is iron man turning off the other guy's megntic suit ablites. That's something I didn't know ironman could do. I new he also had megntic powers just not to the extend of guardian. I didn't know he could shut them off. I'm still going to give guardian a slight edge cause of his speed and the fact that alpha flight gets craped on all the time. so like 5.5 out of 10.

I doubt Iron Man could just shut off his power, since Mac actually taps into the electromagnetic field and even Mangeto commented the suits has a very strong EM field. Iron Man would have to pull a PIS to do something like that.

ehem....alpha flight im not a fan of, I like radius and guardian, thats about it.

I'm sorry for being so nice ... Well I'm a AF fanboy, but I'm a fanboy that knows my characters limits. I don't hype them up to be what they are not. You could say I'm a new age fanboy leader who can lead the fanboys to the light....that or I'm way to lazy to post 50+ scans. Either or.

I think that may mean you're just a fan. A fanboy would do the stuff that demigawd said. Fanboys defend characters against people who could kill them easily, say that someone wins because they are cool, use PIS battles, etc. At least, that's how I always saw it. You use facts, are civilized, give the opposition the benefit of the doubt in battles, and spell correctly.

Although I guess you could just be a lazy fanboy like you said.

Late to the party, I know, but I'm leaning towards a stalemate on this one.

I don't know for sure how many full-strength repulsor blasts Guardian could take before his force shields quit, but I reckon the same would be more or less true of IM taking a few full-power plasma bursts...

Plasma blasts wont do squat ... heat based attacks only serve to give Iron Man a power boost:

Guardian's "plasma bursts" aren't exactly plasma as in superheated air...rather, they're concentrated bursts of electromagnetic force...

Its still energy though


Point is, a case can be made for either of them winning. I like Guardians chances myself, but thats more for his creative ways of winning.

Ironman could just as easily win though

That's why I lean towards stalemate...although with a day or two of prep, I'm sure IM would find a way to mod his armor to give himself an advantage...

Actually Guardian has much better feats, i said either way earlier in this thread as I didn't know much about Guardian..I know far more now and Iron Man can't even touch the feats of Guardian. He easily wins the majority.

Only way this is close is classic Guardian, but even classic Guardian has quite easily beat an AR Iron Man.
