Ok, this battle takes place in the real world and they're the only two characters from comics in existence. Thor goes on a rampage, but a trusted mystique tells Cap that this is going to happen months/years in advance(whatever you think is sufficient for Cap). The catch is that Cap can't tell Thor and ask him to dispose of himself because that will set his rage off. Cap has to plan secretly, and figure out a way to stop him.

He can watch all his battles if he wants, and try to find any weaknesses he wants. Also, he doesn't have to do anything but stop him. If it's holding him frozen like Omega Red, fine. All he has to do is stop him, and he's Captain America, and the govt completely backs him. Can Cap save the planet, and if he can, what ideas would you have for him???

Man..... no one even views this???? You guys need to think outside the box more. Don't just ignore a Thor vs Cap thread because you think it's obvious.........

Either he calls for backup on top tier level plus magic like Dr Strange or hes not going to do it alone. GV help or not.
