May, because she 20 times faster and more agile than her dad.

Spider-Girl has gravity powers that were able to pin the MC2 version of the Thing to a lightpost. Laura isn't as strong as wolverine, and gravity + webs could have her in trouble very fast. Laura also doesn't have the same durability as wolverine, and spidergirl can definately dish out enough to ko her

Against agile types, Spider-girl definitely does have some major threats her dad doesn't.

This thread is 616 spider girl, not alternate reality spider girl............

From what I have seen she inferior version of spiderman. Though she posses nearly the same powers. In contest of champions 2 Human torch beats her using a fire tornado, and states Peter never would have been taken out by such a move or some such.

oh, well, she probably loses then, though webs might net her a few wins

I wasn't aware there was a 616 spider-girl normally when I hear it people are talking about the alternate future one

when I made this thread I was reffering to 616 spider girl, the same one why was in Contest of champions 2.

She also wasn't Spider-girl in 2006.

Mayday Parker from the long running series. MC2 is the commonly used name of her universe.

......This cant be right....contest of champions is 616 universe and spider girl most certainly loses to human torch. So I not sure how you can tell me that she did not exsist untill 2011, when she was in contest of champions......

Maybe you're thinking of Spider-Woman? There's literally been four of those in 616, three of them heroes.

Your right, I looked it up. It was spider woman. I sorry for some reason I thought she was called spider girl. I always forget there was more then jessica drew.


This fight was supose to be spider woman, but the one from contest champions 2. She had blone hair if not mistaken and rather young (which is why I thought she was spider girl not woman). She had the same powers as spiderman, but she was not as good as him by any stretch.

X23 was trained to be a killer...Spider-Girl has no real training...

I don't even know if MC2 had started at that point (it was very short lived iirc)

her wiki bio says nothing about contest of champions, comicvine has better appearance lists though...

nothing about contest... are you possibly confusing it with "last hero standing" or "last planet standing?"

For the life I me though I cant remember much of anything else she was in other then contest and champions.

I've honestly never heard of the character...

I can name 2 spider-women, and one changed their name to arachne (?) iirc

Mattie was the one in CoC2, but none of them had the exact same powers as Spider-man.

There's Jessica Drew, who you know, glides, has venom-blasts, as well as strength and agility like they all do.

Then there's Julia Carpenter, later Arachne, who had psi-webs and some other limited mental abilities (all her spider-powers were psionic in origin).

Finally, Mattie Franklin, who had the same powers as both of them, and had some spider-like legs coming from her back (that she could make appear and disappear).

The evil Spider-Woman had the powers I listed for Mattie, until Mattie stole them (which is Mattie's origin!).
