goober and I talked about this...we just want excuses to post our respect thread.

But yeah, the forum needs to learn more about He-Man. And I definitely think he could win this.

His strength fluctuates based upon need, so War Hulk really doesn't have a strength edge. And the Sword of Power is going to be able to cut him...and I'm not really sure if Hulk's healing factor is such that he'd recover from, say, his head getting lopped off.

HM 6/10 (the 4 are when he doesn't get enough offense going, because he can definitely be taken out, though it's tough).

So his physical strength is actually a plot device?

Glad you appreciate my efforts on He-Man's behalf big grin .

And those are about the odds I'd give him also, but I'd say it was closer to 7/10, mostly due to his speed/skill advantage.

Did you not read what Digi wrote?

HeMan's strength is as high as it needs to be for him to win.

Um Strength...fluctuates...based...on...need.

How can I put this, Hulk gets stronger, He Man needs more strength, he gets stronger.

Or in xmeat terms.

HE MAN STRONGEST ONE THERE IS RRRRAAAAAGGGGHHHH.

I just did some reseach on He Man and after seeing the evidence I'm voting Hulk.

IMO that trumps all Hulk feats in terms of spreading terror. HeMan gets my vote.

Well he doesn't normally just become as strong as he needs to win, it's more that he becomes as strong as is necessary for him to stand toe to toe with his opponent in the strength department, and then he ends up winning with his speed/skills/sword after a tough fight.

This is the best example I can come up with to show how his strength varies on need...

Notice that in the first scan he's straining to lift the golem's foot as if it is taking great effort, but moments later he's able to keep the golem's foot raised with one hand(and no more visible effort on his part). So it's never easy for him to accomplish a major feat of strength, it's just never impossible either.

When two opponents of equal power fight the better fighter will always be the victor. So as long as HeMan is smart basicly invincible H2H.

I will bring the video camera, I can almost here the cash registers closing when this hits the shelves!

Adam_PoE
A battle between He-Man and War Hulk would not get very far. He-Man will simply use the Sword of Power to absorb the radiation from the Hulk, reverting him to Bruce Banner.

hmm, why don't they ever make adult comics using proper DC/Marvel characters? confused

Can He Man amp up his strength from Grayskull if he's not on Eternia?

DigiMark007

Good question....but it might be unanswerable right now.

He's been to space before and been ok, but it's still in the same universe. But I don't think we have evidence of a crossover with him in another universe (except the movie, which doesn't count).

Yes. His powers work in the past, e.g. "The Powers of Grayskull: The Legend Begins," the future, e.g. "The New Adventure," "Skeletor's Journey," "Battle for the Crystal," "The Revenge of Skeletor," alternate realities, e.g. "Lifetime," other planets, e.g. "The Story of She-Ra," and so on.
