Can ww in full god gear tank a hit from thor (using mjolnir of course)

Thor is warrior madness + Belt of strength + Jarngreipr

Can wonder woman tank it

JakeTheBank
I don't see why not if she throws up her bracers.

Konton
Standard gear Diana could do it.

Rage.Of.Olympus
She'd better duck.

That's a joke right?

If he actually hit her physically he would kill her. Even if he hit her bracers, he'd shatter the bones and destroy the bracers.

Superman has broken her wrists just by squeezing her bracers hard enough and she has even admitted that her bracers themselves would not last too long from blows against an enraged Superman or something similar to that.

galactusischere
Thor.

Yet Zoom tagged her with punches greater then those of Superman, and they just bloodied her up a bit.

...Stupid contradictive durability feats. glare

Maybe she was.....wait for it......exaggerating.

*gasp*

I know, shocking right?

I don't think any writer would actually write Zoom as punching harder than Clark in any sort of direct comparison where Clark is involved in the story. There's also the possibility she was just talking about standard Clark.

I think their encounters have made it pretty damn clear that if Superman is pissed, his punches would do more than just bloody her up a bit.

Galan007
Dianna said, and I quote, "I've been hit by Superman. This hurts more." No reason at all to take that as an exaggerative claim.

JakeTheBank
Standard gear Diana blocked the collective energies of Olympus' gods with the bracers, though the effort was extreme. With full gear, I see her being able to block the attack.

Yep

Konton
If she's bracing before hand, she is MORE than capable of tanking a hit here without her armor.

WITH all her gear, she's ten times her normal durability and still has the aegis so... that shouldn't even be an argument.

That is good becuase thor is 40 times his normal strength

10 x 2 x 2 = 40

Well, I don't understand how it would hurt more as according to you all that happened was her getting bloodied up a bit. And I'm assuming Zoom hit her multiple times.

She once temporarily blacked out from a hit from Superman.

Bracer's always seemed more effective against energy attacks than physical attacks in my opinion.

Harbinger
Fully geared, she tanks it.

JakeTheBank
It depends on how his amps stack, imo. Personally, I think each multiplier to his strength would be added up before hand instead of each item stacking on top of the next one.

Haha what the hell? Are you under the influence?

She's tanking a hit from a Warrior Madness Thor while being amped with the belt of strength without any gear just because she's bracing?

He'd literally cave her skull in. Her head would be a stain. Thor would be over 20 times stronger than normal and blood lusted. That's one of the most ridiculous claims for Wonder Woman I've ever heard. And I've argued with fangirl multiple times. Hopefully I misunderstood your post. Hopefully you meant with the Aegis in effect.

Her armor gives her ten times normal durability? I thought the armor was just that. Armor. Added protection but I've never heard it giving her ten times normal durability.

^ It's the Gauntlet of Atlas that gives the x10 strength/durability

The Gauntlets of Atlas give her added strength and durability? Really? I always thought they only increased her strength.

Yep. It's what allowed Cassie to survive being dismissively swatted away by the Doomsday clone, and even then she was in terrible shape.

Konton
I do mean with the aegis in effect.

Gauntlets of Atlas give her even more backbone to deflect with the aegis bracers.

However I believe the Aegis to be enough to deflect ANYTHING, as it has never failed.

Was this when Supergirl was kidnapped by Darkseid?

I swear that every single time I can recall reading an instance of the capabilities of the Gauntlets it's always only mentioned the strength amping. Never any durability amping.

No, this was before then, around the time Cassie was first introduced as a character, if I recall correctly. The durability amping is mentioned in a Wonder Woman Secret Files type of comic and I think during OWAW with Hippolyta wearing them.

She'd have to have the literal force field in play. Not physical block the attacks with her bracers. He'd shatter her bones and I can see the bracers breaking.

I'd have to check that as I don't remember.

But thanks. thumb up

Yeah, I had gathered scans to use in the last tourny when Smurph and I had drafted fully geared WW. laughing

We lost, but damn if that wasn't a monster unleashed.

If only we had become partners. With Thor on my team, I'd make even Philo's Superman cry. sneer

Jokes aside you guys did good. thumb up

Would a full geared Wonder Woman be allowed in a herald tourney though? In close combat she's obviously above Top Tier.

Konton
Yeah, back when Cassie was first introduced.

WW #111 I think.

The Aegis effect? Yea.

The bracers don't break. This has been made clear throughout comic continuity.

I appreciate it, man. I'm proud of the way we debated and have no regrets aside from perhaps relying too much on Zatanna. It's still my firm belief that outside of insane power-meshing/amps, no single character in that tourny could have taken down Fully Geared Diana. uhuh

stick out tongue

Wasn't Thor in that tourney? He'd have stopped you even though a shmuck like Leo (>3) was using him. uhuh

Yea, I honestly would argued against a fully geared Wonder Woman being a herald tourney. It's cause she's a woman. Five gets you ten you claim a fully geared Thor and people would be up in arms.

Oh, I had strategies in my head for taking down Thor and Bill. shifty

I actually had this idea I really wanted to use provided we had gone up against a Green Lantern team, but we didn't.

Wow Jake. I didn't know you were into that kind of stuff. Since he looks like a horse wouldn't it count as bestiality? I was personally never into pig roasts.

Off topic question. You ever go back to the marvel boards?I haven't been on there in like over a year now.

And nah, I've not been back to Marvel boards for a while. I've dropped a lot of Marvel titles over the past couple of years due to cash and I prefer KMC to be honest.

Hmmm, yea. I'm more into KMC now but man you should have been there back in the day. The Marvel boards were really epic man. I mean epic. I'd beat none of the vets have forgotten me yet. I wonder if any of the old guys still log in. I miss the old Marvel board days. sad

Yeah, I remember some of the outlandish topics and subjects there, especially on the versus forums. Admittedly, I was more of a Marvel zombie back in the day, but I had some good times there.

The Versus forums were fun. It's funny, I was known as the biggest DC fanboy back then on the Marvel boards. Heh.

Of course you did.

She tanked a blast from the entire Greek pantheon with direct contact on the bracers. He would not break the bracers either.
