I'm still not entirely sure how this works...I mean I could try to make a page for black bolt like omega did for darkseid but I can't gaurntee it would be anything of use.Even if it is what i think it is.

Just get it started. People can revise as needed.

Keep in mind that the wiki should be user friendly and related to the versus section in specific. Try to focus on the characters' capacities. Walls of character biography might be make poeple exist the page before gone through it.

Right. I used imageshack and then posted a picture to an external link. You don't necessarily have to use imageshack, you could use google image link.

I did it for you already, just put link, and in the "text link" box put the name instead of the address, then choose the name of your page from the drop box menu.

Capitalize the first letters of proper nouns and correct the inconsistency with the flight speed. One part says 500 mph and another says 1,000 mph. I just scanned through and will look in more detail when I feel better.

I answered the picture question already, that one took me a while to figure out but its not really that hard. I also bumped up some sections of the Kang page so the "vs forum" stuff is at the beginning and the character stuff is at the bottom.

I'm updating by tiny bits but it will be quite a good complement to the respect thread once I get done:

I went and edited the table on Blackbolt's page, basically I merged the cells in each header with the adjacent one so they look more "centered".

Ok people, I just did a template you can use to do any character you want. When you push the "new page button" select the Character template and you will have a new page with the Table already done. You just need to type in the information and put a picture after the name of the character. This should save you a lot of time.

Just go to recent changes and go to the template which I recently changed, there is an edit button just like in every page.

Goddamnit!This stupid page isn't working.For some reason I have it as bold letters but then when I click save everything says =...

Fictional Misc Characters menu added. Also, Korvac's profile added with three forms (Machine Korvac, Michael and What If).

Added a few characters to the Misc section, I'll try to make one of their pages tomorrow, probably Dresden since at the moment he's my favorite fictional character.

I also think I should explain why I used Neo and Yoruichi for the travel- respective reaction speed templates. It was since it's associated to speed and time, I felt the need to add motion .gif files instead of solid images. And I just couldn't find any good comic superhero clips.

The rest one will be solid with comic panels, I promise.

You could have used the scene from the Watchmen movie where Ozy performs the bullet catch, that's a pretty good example of peak human/low lever superhuman reaction speed.

Problem is that the clip is half a minute long. Silk Spectre II shoots Ozymandias rolls down a flight of stairs rolls over and shows that he caught the bullet.

.gif files are better suited to be around 5 seconds or less.

Nevermind I'll get to it eventually. But you could start on the magic or reality -warping templates. They don't necessarily require perfect scientific backgrounds.

Write the page for the infinity gems / gauntlet and proceed with the individual gems.

Also avoid varying the font, there's no need in making the letters so big that the blind can read them.

Infinity Gems would be more appropriate tbh since they existed far before Thanos ever fixed them to his glove. The gauntlet itself is just a glove that happens to hold the gems. You could get the same effect by sticking the gems in your pockets.

I'm not telling you to make a page for each gem, just that titling it as the "Infinity Gauntlet" just further encourages the idea that the gauntlet is more than just a placeholder for the gems, which are the real artifact(s). The gauntlet itself is irrelevant.

That was just because no one had ever gathered them all before Thanos did. The glove was just a glove.

If I were to make a page for the guy in my Sig, Sokar, I would be making a page for the personality of the little snake in his brain, the actual Sokar, not whatever the hell his host's name was.

Same applies with the gems, the gauntlet is merely a holder and has no real significance of its own when divorced from the gems.

Question: How did you put those little bullets in the comic version to put Drax's different incarnations? I also did several pages for Korvac and I'd like to do the same.

also like the comic math but it also a headache and i dont think it is really relevant since they are individual opinions and not really comic facts and simply assumptions of how thinks should work..

Renamed Infinity gems to Infinity Gauntlet (it's not difficult for organizers) once the templates are done we'll promote another organizer (since it's better with 2 or 3).

Well, for a number of reasons we aren't allowed to do non-comic respect threads here in KMC, but also, the indexing in the wikia is quite better so searching for characters is quite faster. I also wanted to add versus discussion arguments to the profiles, discuss general consensus etc. -some information we post is consensus already, but is not posted as arguments-, as someone mentioned earlier we can discuss about the forums itself too: The posters, the threads, arguments and tournaments.

Also it is less of a pain in the butt for the moderators and thanks to that it can be more flexible.

Nothing is really required, we have a few users who haven't made a single edit or post a single page. We won't kick you out for not doing anything. It's first when someone deliberately corrupts the wiki that they will be kicked out.

Other than that, you join so that you can write pages (articles) and edit others'.

Heading 1 for the title the heading 3 for all other titles.Click character template instead of blank page when starting.

Use other pages as reference guide if need be.If you want any more help PM me.

i am getting pissed i can seperate the image to the right corner and keep the tables in the left every time i try the picture ends up inside the wrong table and i cant make a table line up to the right corner of the page..

OK, I haven't been active in the articles but I recently went through Frieza's and I have to say one thing.

The profiles are not suppose to be a a bundle of spoilers and plot summarizations. It's suppose to cover the character, as he is to be used in battles.

The table should give a very basic idea of how powerful the character is.

The following text should explain why the character have the given attributes.

For instance: "Frieza's durability: Large planet" -- "Frieza, in a weakened state survived the explosion of planet Namek."

And the reference should not be to random articles about the characters. It should give the sources for that reasoning. In the example above it would be "Dragon Ball manga, chapters 327 - 329".

Now a brief biography is fine, and you can have a reference for that. But the biography itself isn't what the site is about. Anyone can look up the character Frieza on dragonball.wikispaces.com or wikipedia.com.

Read the current page. It's actually straight on what people here think about the character (or so I'd assume).

Transformations are still needed for now. Also sorry for the recent edits, I just had to put that final reference there (it's not easy).

i think i screwed up... was i suppose to become member of astner's forum or thread?

i just signed in and started making a wiki page but i think i basically just started my own where i am the organizer.

He has to accept you before you can start making them.Then after he lets you join where it says make a wiki there will be something that says "new page"

Click edit
What you do is go to the comics page.
Then you scroll down to T where thanos is.
Put a bullet point.
Then click on link at the top(it follows you).
click on page name.And in alphabetical order should be thunderstrike.
Then a comma and in italics the comic they are in.

i am thinking for the physical power we need to have things like ground and pound to localized quakes and Ravine makers..

i think small ground and pounders can range from 20 to 50 tonners..
thunderclappers are 20 tonners and up..

localized earthquakes and ravine makers should be 90 to 100+ tonners.. Hulk, thor, thunderstrike juggernaut... etc etc

just throwing out ideas...

i don't really get the point of this wiki space idea, mostly due to the respect thread being pretty decent (scans just need to be re-posted or at least cited more often) and it already has the kmc imprint.

seems fishy since the respect thread gets praise and views enough

Its just a quick outline of characters abilties and powers so you don't have to go through 30 pages of respect threads to find only a few feats.

even easier when feats are mention and it has a link leading right to it or the article/bio time dates ect etc..

king mungi and onedumbgo (both canadians btw ) made respect threads with great detail and organization, just use those templates for other respect threads...right?
