Ok, I think upgraded Essence takes Prince of Orphans, but pre- upgraded Essence would stalemate. Both have pretty much the same powers.

When Essence was granted the power of Ducra, it was felt across the universe! Apollo, the god felt it. Trigon felt it, etc...

But even before she had an upgrade, Essence was easily tanking firepower from Team 7, which included Grifter and Deathstroke. Probably, because she can go intangible.

She was also able to get the best of Starfire, Arsenal, and Jason Todd.
