Says Owlman as he refuses to abort the bomb for a chance at survival.
" If I do that i would only create a parallel universe where i do abort it."

(Meanwhile on a parallel earth)
"Stupid bat fool," says Owlman as he aborts the explosion.
"Guess I must have some time to go sightseeing."and then he undertones,
"Lucky I brought spares."
He says whiles he pulls out his universal teleportation device. Owlman fiddles with his device and tries to find a new world to travel to.
"That would be great."
(Meanwhile in the marvel universe)
"I have created a maximum security vault in a pocket universe where no one would no about. What do you think." Tony stark says proudly as if it were an accomplishment. A portal opens in the far side of the room which is followed by a battle between him and the illuminati group. Owlman loses and then calls reinforcements from the DCU.

Iron man activates a failsafe protocol and calls in replacements to fight the DC group and guard the Infinity gauntlet.

Owlman now possesses the Infinity Gauntlet and threatens to destroy all life in the galaxy. The DC team call in reinforcements.

Thanos has sensed the remaking of the gauntlet and travels to the illuminati HQ to get it back. seeing as he doesn't have the power to fight Owlman alone he calls the cosmic entities of the universe that defeated him when he had the infinity gauntlet but only Mephisto, Galactus and lady death answer his call. When Thanos arrives with his new companions Dr doom and Martian manhunter,who were the only ones of the DC group to not be killed by Owlman, become concious and decides to help thanos.

As Thanos' team have won Thanos sees it as a brilliant opportunity to take the gauntlet. Galactus is worried about this and contacts Adam Warlock to help. Adam then contacts the silver surfer to help as well.
