Wolverine and Terry impode and die in their attempts to travel back in time to save their respective universes, but their combined time-dickery causes a rift in the space-time continuum of the omniverse. As a result the Age of Ultron Marvel earth and Futures End DC earth merge, creating a world with all the forces of Ultron and Brother Eye co-existing.

With the heroes almost all disposed of or assimilated, and only a few regular humans still surviving, each side turns on this sudden new enemy.

Which side will be triumphant?

Futures End is only on issue 3. We don't even know who the big bad is. Or the new heroes.

We don't know how powerful Brother Eye is. He just enslaved most of the heroes on earth, though.

This is basically just Ultron's Age of Ultron forces vs Brother Eyes forces from Futures End.

I guess we haven't seen a lot of Eye's power yet but we did see Eye's forces killing off/converting all the heroes like Superman, Constantine, WW, GL, Amazo, etc, and Ultron wiped out most of his heroes.

So if the worlds got merged and it was Ultron's forces vs Brother Eye's forces who wins?

How has the story been? I've been hoping for a good Dc story to get into.

It's....OK. Doesn't seem to be tying in to any other book, which is surprising - which means there aren't many issues to get.

So far, it's typical 'watch older versions of your fav heroes struggle for their lives and die' type thing.

It sounds very AoU rip off-y, but I guess ill check it out as a trade.

Brother Eye has a Mother Box as well. Bruce put it in, IIRC.

Marvel's doing their own jump into the future event. Wonder which threat will be bigger? Futures End or Final Incursion?
