Can Doctor Strange grasp the underworld or will he be pulled down?

hmm, strange obviously has the feats to support a win here but if they're in hades I think I might side with Pluto on average. strange has had his hands full with Loki on multiple occasions. in hades Pluto>loki.

I mean you'd think so. But Loki has way better feats and fights than Pluto. I think Dr. Strange wins. Inside Hades, I'd give it to Pluto after a good fight.

he has better feats in general because he's had so many more appearances. pluto and hela are supposed to be relative equals and hela>loki. i'll concede it might be a tough thing to rigidly support though given pluto's limited appearance.

Did you see the Defenders issue where he and Lorelei (Amora's younger, WEAKER sister) fought to a draw?

Not looking good for poor Pluto.

didn't see it. I do recall Pluto beating hela in a battle and Pluto also taking out Thor in a one on one fight as well though. he doesn't have many showings so if he has some inconsistencies it's hardly shocking.

there was also the time he beat the stranger in hades. during that battle he states that on neutral ground the stranger may have beaten him, but in hades his energies are constantly renewed. those are the classic showings I remember.

Yeah, he had some good showings in the very late 70s, early 80s. But it's been sort of downhill since then.
