I looked and could not find another thread for this.
This was GOOOD film. Sometimes, the voice acting was cheesy, but it was generally REALLY good.
They did better to keep the power and strength of characters more logically in step, with Bankai Ichigo running ALL over a Shikai released Renji. However, I did not like it how Ichigo was even given trouble against the MASSIVELY slow bankai of Sajin. Ichigo would have cut that shit up to pieces in the time it took that thing to even swing once. They did well at first at making Ichigo dodge everything like it was nothing, but then he got hit like a chump with a really slow swing...and Bankai Ichigo is supposed to be way faster than even some of the best flash steppers in Bleach, while in bankai form.
But, other than that, GREAT story, great voice acting (for the most part), great character interaction. I didn't like how Ichigo got depressed when Rukia didn't recognize him, but other than that, the characters were very much in step.
The MOST awesome part of the movie: When Captain Yamamoto approached Ichigo and Toshiro on that hill they were fighting on and EVERYTHING started shaking, Toshiro's ice started breaking up into tiny pieces and floating, the air was really thick and vibrating with reiatesu, and the epic music that accompanied Yamamoto, and the serious look on his face. He meant business and there was NO doubt that he was, by far, the mot powerful one there. F***ING COOL! My son watched that part and he was like, "Is he angry, dad? Are those other guys in trouble?" And I said, "hell yes, son. Someone is about to get pwned." hahahahaha
Final note: out of even regular films, I still give this an 8.5 out of 10. It was awesome. One of the best anime films I've seen. Nice animation, some good humor here and there, nice contiunity in power cept for some of the things I mentioned, some awsome WTF moments, etc.
Worth watching regardless of whether or not you follow Bleach.
