He always bites off more than he can chew. I think he might be able to pull this out though. But I haven't seen enough to say for sure.

He can get one or two wins out of it. NOthing more. She would be just as much of a bother to him as she is to Circe. The only difference between Diana and Thor is Diana can channel Spells and Thor has his magic right at his finger tips. But Diana is more resistant/immune to loki's mind games as well. Circe and Loki would make a fun team up against Diana and Thor.

Wonder Woman. Even though Loki is an asgardian he ain't got the power to overcome Wonder Woman and her arsenal...

Hmmm. I have no idea about the current incarnations, but classic-wise, I'd favor Loki.

Wait, Loki killed Dr. Strange in battle before when Thor became King Thor.

I agree that physically, Wonder Woman dominates. And Loki isn't about to go hand to hand with Wonder Woman he's too smart and devious for that.

Magically, he should be able to completely dominate her.

Magically, he should be able to dominate her. I'm sure he has plenty of spells that would give him the decisive edge over the purely physical Wonder Woman.

Circe is a more powerful sorcerer than Loki and WW is pretty much protected from Circe's magic as well. It's one of those things built into WW by the Greek Gods. Loki would have to do things like get others to do his dirty work. The same way Circe has to do.

Doesn't mean she's immune to Loki's magic. Circe may have trouble with Wonder Woman, but Circe is not Loki. Loki uses asgardian magic and draws power from a completely different universe. She won't be immune.

DC's magic is stronger than marvel's according to the CANNON jla avengers. I doubt Loki is going to be dishing anything out that Diana hasn't encountered. Loki will had to do things like create an absorbing man or something to fight her. he can't fight her heads up.

Scans please. I read the entire JLA/Avengers and didn't see any reference to magic in the DC universe being stronger than Marvels.

I'm not going to post any scans. Reread it. It's the reason Wanda was sick most of the Book and why she was so powerful. The very reason she went back to the MU and became HOM wanda. She tapped into DC's wilder more powerful magic.

No. I have posted scans before to which people just turn to another argument. You know wanda was sick for the JLA avengers books. The DCU magic made her much stronger. That is how she was able to casually send the avengers around the world. The book even said that The Magic in the DCU was stronger. Which is why there is no way Marvel's Gods' can be stronger than DC's like you suggested in another thread, when the Gods are magical.

I'm at work. I don't have my comics sitting in front of me. I just know that in the story, It was said That the DCU magic was stronger. That is why Wanda was able to KO the entire Justice league with one bolt.

a particular variety of magic was shown to be stronger- Chaos magic. ONLY chaos magic. (which, according to Doc Strange, apparently doesn't even actually exist in the Marvel universe). I'm pretty sure no mention was made about magic IN GENERAL... if there was, please clarify.

IF I'm not mistaken, all of DC's magic is the same. The Spectre for sure made certain of that.

Loki can easily pull it off, its that hes really underrated on this board, I've got some scans where he's stalemating surtur, i need to dig them up.
