King Kandy
Scan is no good.
Prep-Man
yeah, what's up with that? it was working earlier.
occultdestroyer
It's working fine here.
Never heard of them before, or maybe I just forgot about them.
Is Michael of the 6 Archangels, Michael Demiurgos??
If he is, then The Endless lose.
kevdude
Yeah scans don't work, might be the one with the Phantom Stranger talking to some kid a few moments after the Big Bang??
occultdestroyer
@Prep-Man
Repost the scan with the IMG caption.
Prep-Man
it's nothing special, just shows phantom stranger explaining the angels.

Uriel
Raphael
Saraquel
Gabriel
Raguel
You can minus one of the Endless as it wouldn't be fare.
Just how powerful are these archangels?
Creshosk
Angelfire disables hotlinking.

However that is easily bypassed.

I would remove Destiny of The Endless to make it more balanced.
The Archangels win.

Raguel = Spectre.
Wait, I thought Spectre = The wrathful aspect of God, rather than a seperate being like an archangel....

However, all trace of Raguel/Aztar was removed from his being when he became the Spectre. Such was his punishment for siding with Samael.
In a sense it is a different character once it became Spectre, however, I was just commenting.

Ohh, didn't know that.
Thanks for the info...
Juntai
iirc, shortly after that, Phantom Stranger and Timothy Hunter meet Spectre, and Tim remarks the resemblance between the two.
occultdestroyer
Yeah, Raguel (the green one) was actually The Spectre.
Endless Mike
Didn't Michael pwn the Spectre?

No, both different aspects of The Presence.
Though they are peers.
kevdude
The Word is The Voice in the flesh, though they are separated. Tefe Holland with her mother.
Here in The Spectre while looking for God in 97.
Going into the Earth and talking with Gaea
More info on Raguel = The Spectre is shown in Murder Mysteries

It does not come out directly and say that but there is little hints here and there that's who it is.
One instance here.

Another a Bible reference, Revelation 19:13, And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. Revelation 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire. In ST 149 while The Word is talking too Blake, on the cover of the comic it shows Jesus sitting sitting playing the card game looking at the reader..
Endless Mike
Isn't it also implied that The Word is Destiny of the Endless or linked to him?
- He has a book like Destiny's that says what is happening in the story
- When he is about to arrive something like "Destiny has come" is said
- He is described as "the oldest of the 7 Aspects of the Presence" - the 7 Endless?
kevdude
Never thought of the 7 aspects that way before, does make sense. Before I thought it was talking about the archangels but there are more then 7 and The Word is not is not an archangel. The big difference between them is The Word dresses in a red hooded vesture differently then Destiny's usual brown. The Endless can look different if they chose too. In the DC encyclopedia they are separated beings.
Galan007
i'm going with the endless.
from what i've seen, even the higher up angels are still subject to forces like; destruction, death, destiny, etc - which means that they operate within the 'scope' of the endless.
