Then Darkseid should lose.. Like Galactus, Darkseid has low power moments, he mentions it in Hunter Prey for example..... he is also subject to bad writing..

exactly i hate how much abuse darkseid has been getting on here lately because superman beat him, and the fight took place pretty much on the sun so supes did have a bit of an advantage.

Current Thanos will hold his own against Darkseid and even more. Thanos fought Odin to a stand still, even Odin was surprise " I have felt like this in century's" Odin even stated that Thanos has ability to tap into some dark cosmic energy like Odin can tap into the Odin-force. Adam Warlock stated that they haven't seen Thanos at full strength which means like Thor, and others he holds back.

And Darkseid at full power would Omega Beam Thanos and Odin both, and take Odin's power and add to his own, and chalk him rest of the gods that fell before him.

Current Darkseid gets a bad rap. He got downgraded from Galactus level to Superman level which is a hell of a downgrade but still nothing to scoff at.

Everyone has bad moments but generally Galactus is the most powerful non abstract in the Marvel Universe.

General Rule Of Thumb: PIS here in KMC only exists in Marvel. It is generally accepted as cold hard canon for DC. Double-standards.
