what exactly has drax done that would make anyone believe he has any chance to win this fight . . .?

Ehhh 8th Day isn't a special version of Juggernaut. He didn't do anything Classic Juggs hasn't already done.

Juggernaut wins.

Drax cannot tap enough the Power Gem to win, too bad for him as he dies here.

The only reason that the Drax with the Power gem wasn't that effective was he never that serious except when coming to Thanos in this fight he has a serious want to kill Juggernaut which will keep him focused on the fight.
